How bad does it hurt to tear the hymen? Is it possible for it to only partially tear off?

I tore mine just recently (and by the way, you are NOT a slut) i have so many teenage girls in my school who are all ually active, and me, a 18 year old girl, i am proud to say that i have never had and that im waiting for someone really special. however, i just went to my new gynecologist, my old one, was extremely conservative and did not want to tear mine. He didnt want to do a pap smear and what not. Anyway, so i go to my new one and i thought, ok this is going to be fine, no big deal lol... Everyone always says that using the "clamps" is just pressure, its uncomfortable, but it doesn't hurt. Well, in order to use those, they had to tear my hymen, now unfortunately, I have to tell you now, It was some of the worst pain, I personally have ever felt. It wasn't exactly pain like "ow, this hurts get me the hell out of here" it was like a severe stinging. And im trying not to sugar coat it for you, but i gotta tell you it really did hurt. However, it was for about 30 seconds, and then when they took them out, i felt no pain and i had no bleeding. So ultimately i think it depends on pain tolerance. I have also heard that if for some reason, you have and the hymen does not tear. You can go to the gyno and have them cut it for you. So there are a wide variety of answers to this complex question but just remember that you have to just be as comfortable as you can and wait until the right time. Dont be forced...
