What is your favorite time period of SNL's 36 year history and why?

Yes, it was those early days with John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, and Gilda Radner. I didn't care for Bill Murray, but all of them went on to successful careers in comedy - think of how many films they starred in, from "Animal House" and "48 Hours" to "The Jerk" and "Trading Places." That was a unique bunch of comics.
