I have a propane smoker do i use wet or dry wood chips? should i use charcoal as well as propane?

No not with a propane unless you want to use mosquette. go to 3men.com/smoked.htm they have it all. Once there type in preparing smoker. Bingo!!!!! I have used this site for a couple of years from jerky to fish. Apple wood chips soaked over nite is my favorite to each their own though. Good luck and enjoy.
