How come my boyfriend isnt concerned that i have crohns?

we've been together for 10 months. i told him a long time ago i had crohns... never got into detail about it. things are more serious now and ive tried to explain more about the disease to him. i even brought him a brochure. he just doesn't seem to be taking this very seriously. it seems like he could care less. he sat there and read a paint brochure instead of the crohns one. he began yelling at me when i started crying. then he just sat back and fell asleep when i started expressing how much pain its caused me and talking about it. health issues can make him queasy- but this is very serious and when im sick he pretty much makes fun of me and calls me a faker. hes 29.
