I love a fren of mine but can't tell her as i am afradi that i might lose her as a fren. what shud i do?

She is in US and I am in Germany so i relly can't talk to her in person but i talk to her on msn and we are good friends. So, i i rip my heart and the felling is not reciprocal then i might lose her as friend as well. So, i am afraid to her my feeling. What shud I do, help me guys, i can only dream of her!!
