Looking at buying a jeep. The one I'm looking at is a highly optioned 2003 Rubicon. It has very low miles...?
at only 12,000. Owned by a doctor for a couple of years, and then by his friend for a couple of years. Still has that new car smell. Like I said it's highly optioned. 4" suspension lift, 1" body lift, Dana 44 on front and rear, electric locks, custom bumpers front and rear, rock guards, molded steel covers around the tail lights and corners of the jeep in the rear, 8,000 wench, full skid plates on the bottom, front and rear diff. are completed guarded, it's a stick shift with another throddle on the shifter for rock climbing (so you can have your left foot available for the clutch and your right foot to work the brake), new soft top, factory half doors, high lift jack mounted on the heavy duty swing away spare tire mount (with full size spare), newer'ish tires (35"). Looks really awesome. Just a little concerned that it may be too optioned as a daily driver that will honestly only see pavement 80% of the time. I've done my homework (just didn't take the dealers word for it) and it has easily 10K in optioned installed. There's more, I just didn't list them all. He's asking $27k. What do you think? Too much for a daily driver? WOW!!!! I cannot stop thinking about it. It's bad A$$. And drives like a awesome. Just needing some reurance that it's not a bad move for me to buy. I'm be trading in my 2006 Z71 (crew cab, and 4X4) that is paid for in order to be able to put down about $15,000. Dang....called my insurance guy and full coverage insurance will even be cheaper than my truck!!!
