Timothy Geithner's $34,000 tax "mistake"?

USA Today reports that Geithner was approved by Congress to head up the treasury department despite his l$34,000 "tax mistake". Do u think they might just be giving this guy something of a "break"? If he had been a Republican there would have been a lynch mob!!
